Emirati Past Meets Present At Al Hosn
Held at Qasr Al Hosn, Abu Dhabi’s most treasured historic site, the festival invites visitors to step back in time while staying firmly rooted in today. Al Hosn Festival is a living celebration of Emirati traditions, values, and creativity. I’m talking from the hospitality and food to dress, crafts, and storytelling.
Wander Through Traditional Souks & Live Craft Demonstrations
One of the biggest highlights of the festival is its bustling traditional souks. Here, you can watch skilled artisans bring heritage crafts to life with live demonstrations of weaving, pottery, and calligraphy. These moments are real-life opportunities to see how age-old skills are still practised today, passed down through generations.

Fun For Families & Little Festival-Goers
Al Hosn Festival is designed for all ages, making it a great outing for families. Children can enjoy hands-on workshops created especially for them, while adults can explore cultural demonstrations that shine a light on Emirati customs and values. It’s interactive, educational, and genuinely enjoyable. No boring history lessons here.
Music, Dance & Traditional Shows You’ll Love
The festival atmosphere truly comes alive with traditional music, dance performances, and live shows. These performances add colour, energy, and rhythm to the experience, making it easy to feel connected to the culture, even if it’s your first visit.

A Treat For Food Lovers
Food is a big part of Emirati culture, and the Al Hosn Festival delivers in the best way. Visitors can sample traditional Emirati dishes, experience warm hospitality, and learn how local flavours and recipes have been passed down through generations. Come hungry. You’ll want to try more than one dish.
