You Will Soon Be Able To Explore The Expo 2020 Dubai City In 15 Minutes On A Cycle!

The Expo 2020 Dubai site will be transformed into a residential community with bike paths at the core of its transportation strategy. District 2020 will prioritise wellness and health as they strive to encourage an energetic and balanced lifestyle.

As a result, District 2020 will be the country’s first 15-minute city, with cyclists able to go from one end to the other in under 15 minutes. When the project is completed, there will be driverless electric automobiles, so you won’t have to pedal all summer!

In about 56 days, Expo 2020 Dubai will be over and the United Arab Emirates is already planning how it will be utilised in the future. According to David Gourlay, District 2020’s director of architecture, District 2020 will be “a 15-minute city that offers workers, residents, and visitors everything they need in close proximity.”

The location will contain a “special autonomous car route, a 10-kilometer cycling track, linked, large pedestrianised paths, and a 5-kilometer running track.” When the Expo site is completed, the UAE will invest $8 billion in developing it into a commercial and residential city.
