His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the UAE’s Paralympic heroes. After their splendid performance at the Olympics, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan even congratulated them. UAE’s team competed in the following five sports, athletics, shooting, powerlifting, wheelchair racing and cycling. Abdulla Sultan Alaryani won a gold medal in the Men’s R7 50m Rifle. Mohamed Alhammadi won two medals, first a silver medal in the Men’s 800m T34 event, then a bronze medal in the Men’s 100m T34 event.
