UAE: Here Are All Safety The Rules & Regulations For Christmas & New Year’s Eve Celebrations

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced rules and regulations for the festivities that are coming up. Christmas and New Year’s Eve are approaching, two of the most awaited events of the year. Hence it is important to lay down rules and regulations in regards to the pandemic.

 

Here are all the protocols issued by the NCEMA:

  • The capacity of celebration venues will be set at 80%.
  • Participants must produce a negative PCR test result obtained within the last 96 hours.
  • You are required to submit to mandated body temperature testing.
  • Event organisers are asked to control admittance, minimise overcrowding, and utilise barriers at entrances and exits.
  • Wear face masks at all times in enclosed spaces, minimise overcrowding, and keep a 1.5-metre safe distance.
  • Sanitizing areas regularly and giving sanitisers at restroom entrances and exits
  • Observing social separation during celebrations
  • Members of the same family are permitted to sit together without the necessity for physical separation.
  • Keep your hands from shaking.
  • The public is advised that event organisers will assemble teams to verify the application of preventive measures.
