Travel Ban Lifted For Vaccinated Citizens In The UAE

UAE citizens can now travel to all formerly prohibited nations, including 12 African countries. The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Emergency Management Authority (NCEMA) have announced that from Sunday, February 6, citizens who are fully vaccinated and have received a booster dose of the approved Covid-19 vaccines will no longer face travel restrictions to 12 African countries.

Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, the Republic of Congo, South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zimbabwe are among them. The authorities defined the types of citizens who are permitted to visit these countries:

– First, citizens who got full doses of the authorised Covid-19 vaccinations, as well as the booster dosage

– Second, unvaccinated persons who are medically excused from receiving the Covid-19 vaccination, as well as humanitarian situations and those travelling for treatment. The GCAA and NCEMA recommended individuals to take all necessary precautions and preventative measures, as well as observe all health rules, such as social distance, wearing face masks, and frequent handwashing.
