The UAE Football Association has announced that stadiums would no longer be required to regulate the number of spectators at football matches and other events. The capacity has been expanded to 100%, however, admission will be restricted to persons aged 12 and above with a green status on the Al Hosn app.
Spectators must additionally show documentation of a negative PCR test result within the last 96 hours. According to the official news outlet Wam, the decision was taken following discussions between the UAEFA and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.
The news was made just one day after Abu Dhabi hosted the Club World Cup. For the very first time since the coronavirus pandemic began, theatres will be able to reopen at full capacity on Tuesday, February 15.
