The offers, launched by Fujairah Tourism in partnership with hotels across the Emirate, include discounts on more than just accommodation. Passengers can also enjoy savings on:

Now, to redeem the offers, guests simply need to present a valid Etihad Rail ticket upon arrival at participating hotels. With fares starting from AED 55 for Comfort Class and AED 120 for Premium Class on the Abu Dhabi-Fujairah route, the rail journey could be the perfect excuse for a budget-friendly weekend escape!
Fujairah Hotels That Offer Etihad Rail Discounts
Several hotels across Fujairah are taking part in the offer, with discounts ranging from 10 per cent to 25 per cent depending on the property. Here are some of the participating hotels:

Pets On Etihad Rail – Rules & Passenger Guide
Planning to bring your fur baby along? Etihad Rail allows domestic pets, including dogs and falcons, on board passenger trains! However, this is as long as passengers follow the required travel guidelines. Pets must travel inside an approved carrier, which cannot exceed 55cm x 40cm x 23cm.
The carrier must remain with the passenger throughout the journey. Certified assistance dogs are also permitted, but passengers must arrange this in advance through the Etihad Rail Contact Centre. Passengers travelling with pets should also note:
- The pet must stay inside the carrier for the entire journey.
- The pet carrier counts as part of the passenger’s standard carry-on allowance.
- Passengers cannot bring both a pet carrier and an additional cabin bag.
- Only one pet carrier is allowed per passenger.
- Pets must remain under the owner’s control at all times.
Etihad Rail Luggage & Restricted Items Rules
To keep journeys safe and comfortable for everyone onboard, Etihad Rail has strict rules around prohibited items. Passengers cannot bring:
- Weapons of any kind
- Explosives or explosive materials
- Flammable or hazardous substances
- Narcotics or illegal drugs
- Alcoholic beverages
- Smoking devices and electronic cigarettes
- Bicycles, scooters, e-scooters and e-bikes are also not permitted onboard.
- Large items that block aisles, take up luggage space or create inconvenience for other passengers may also be refused.
Etihad Rail Fare Discounts
One of the best parts of travelling on the Etihad Rail is that it also offers discounted fares for certain passenger groups. Children under 18 can receive 50% off ticket prices, while senior citizens aged 60 and above can receive a 20% discount. Infants aged up to two years can travel free of charge. This applies only if they sit on an accompanying adult’s lap and do not require their own seat. Infants travelling without a separate ticket will not receive an additional baggage allowance.
Etihad Rail’s First Passenger Route
Etihad Rail launched the first phase of its passenger service connecting Abu Dhabi and Fujairah, marking a major step in the UAE’s national railway network. The journey takes approximately one hour and 45 minutes, with trains travelling at speeds of up to 200km/h. The wider passenger network is expected to eventually connect 11 cities and regions across the UAE, making rail travel a convenient option for commuters, families and weekend explorers.
