Etihad Rail’s passenger network will be introduced across the UAE in stages over the coming months:

- September 30, 2026: Dubai Train Station and Al Dhaid Train Station officially open.

- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable
3. Flex
Designed for travellers seeking maximum flexibility:
- Complimentary seat selection included
- Unlimited free changes allowed before departure and up to 30 minutes after departure
- Full refunds available if cancelled at least 24 hours before departure
- Same-day cancellations incur a 30% fee
- Tickets can be transferred to another passenger before boarding
How To Book Etihad Rail Tickets
Passengers can book tickets through the official Etihad Rail website or mobile application. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Select your departure and arrival stations
- Choose your preferred travel date and departure time.
- Select either Comfort or Premium Class.
- Passengers can also upgrade to Value or Flex by paying an additional AED 10 or AED 20
- Enter passenger details, including your name, email address and mobile number
- Add optional extras, such as shuttle bus services for AED 10
- Complete payment using a credit card, debit card or mobile wallet
Once payment is complete, passengers will receive a digital ticket. Physical ticket vending machines are also available at stations.

Baggage Allowance & Rules
Adults and children aged three years and above can bring up to two items of luggage free of charge, regardless of ticket type. Infants under three do not receive a separate baggage allowance.

2. Carry-On Luggage
