United Arab Emirates (UAE) citizens can now travel to GCC nations with only their Emirates ID cards. When visiting GCC nations, you will no longer need to bring your passports. UAE officials revealed this on Friday! GCC nationals will also be permitted to enter the UAE using their state-issued smart ID cards.
The new rules, according to NCEMA, are meant to make travelling between GCC nations easier. In reality, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait made identical declarations on Friday. Both nations said that their residents will be able to travel to GCC countries with their ID cards and that GCC citizens would be able to access both countries with their national cards!
