Halloween in Dubai usually means costume parties and spooky brunches. And just like the many other events in town, the pups get left behind at home. But this year, a few of our favourite spots around town are shaking things up and writing them into the story too! So this Halloween in Dubai why not make your four-legged friend the star of the show instead, with these incredible celebrations? 1. Paint Your Pup At The Duck Hook: Halloween Edition
Want a portrait of your dog that you can hang on the wall? At The Duck Hook’s Halloween-themed breakfast workshop, you paint your dog on a canvas that’s already been sketched by a professional, so you only need to add the colour. Breakfast is part of the deal, and your dog gets its own menu and treats too. All painting materials, one breakfast dish and one drink are included. Before you come, send a clear photo of your dog to artist Marisa Silva on Instagram so she can prepare your canvas.

2. Paint Your Pup At The Bolt Hole: Halloween Edition
The same workshop is coming to The Bolt Hole in Villanova a week later, with a lower price. You’ll get a canvas sketched from your dog’s photo, ready for you to add your own creative touch. Breakfast isn’t included here, but you can order from the à la carte menu while you paint. As with the Duck Hook session, you need to send a clear photo of your dog to artist Marisa Silva before the day.

3. Pet Brunch At Uptown Social
Pet-friendly brunches are hard to find in Dubai, and Uptown Social goes one step further by making your pet the guest of honour. Bring your four-legged plus-one along for a relaxed Saturday brunch, with a starter, main and drink for AED 89 per person. You can add a dessert for AED 30. Every pet gets a free Puppuccino, which might be the best part of the whole thing. And since it’s spooky season, if your pet turns up in a Halloween costume, you get your coffee at half price.

4. Paws & Potions At Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis
If your dog likes an audience, this one is for you. Radisson RED’s Halloween weekend kicks off with Paws & Potions, a pet-friendly night with games, photo moments, treats and a Best Dressed Pet Competition. The hotel also has a family event and an adults-only party the next day, but Paws & Potions is the one for you and your pet. One note for cat owners: cats are welcome too, but they need to stay safely in a carrier.

5. Howl-O-Ween At Stomping Grounds
This one is easy to fit into your day, because it runs from morning until night. Stomping Grounds in Jumeirah 1 is turning Halloween into a party for dogs, kids and adults. The costume competition is open to all three, and the best dog costume wins a Halloween plushie. There’s a DIY photo corner where you can take your own Halloween pictures, and Halloween menu specials are available from 9am to 4pm.
