Censorship Of Foreign Versions Of Blockbuster Films Is Lifted In The UAE

You’ll be excited to learn that the UAE has established a new age classification for movies. The 21+ rating was created by the UAE’s Media Regulatory Office in order for foreign versions of films to be played at your local cinema.

That means no more missing or censored film parts that may contain sequences that contradict the office’s prior categorization guidelines.

The Media Regulatory Office stated on Twitter about the new 21+ rating, “According to this classification, the international version of movies will be shown in cinemas, with an emphasis on the strict following of age classification standards for audience entry.”

As a result, the next time you go to the movies, you can be confident that you will have a genuine worldwide cinema experience.
