Attending Or Hosting A Virtual Holiday Party? Here’s What You Should Keep In Mind

This year has shown us everything, from attending school virtually to now attending parties and events virtually. Well it is for sure not the same, but it is what it is. Christmas and New Year is just a few weeks away, so if you are going to host or even attend a virtual party, here is what you need to know:

Time the event and limit the number of people:

To avoid things like chaos and boredom, put the time limit and the approximate number of people who are going to attend the party. This way a person is somewhat prepared for who and what they are going to see. Putting a time limit is also great, you don’t know how many such parties or events a person is going to attend that day, keeping it short and simple will be relaxing for you as well as the people attending the event.

Secret Santa:

Plan the secret Santa gifts way before your event, this way at the time of the event, everyone would have received their gifts. This actually can be an activity during the party: opening secret Santa gifts.

Decoration, Dressing up and Food:

You can politely ask people to dress up and put new clothes on just to get in that extra festive vibe. Another major holiday component is food, ask people to either cook or order some classic holiday food. You could also decide on a very simple recipe and ask everyone to cook it.

Well this year has been a complete roller coaster, but let’s end it on a good and positive note!
