FOCAL POINT 2021, Sharjah Art Foundation’s Bait Obaid Al Shamsi, will host the annual Sharjah art book market from December 9 to 11, 2021! More than 120 publishers, periodicals, artists, editors, writers, and makers from the UAE and the MEASA area will be represented.
The FOCAL POINT Foundation hosts an annual art book market in Sharjah to support, accelerate, and promote multidisciplinary publishing processes as part of the arts ecosystem. It was first introduced in 2018.
Furthermore, the fair will open with a speaking programme at The Flying Saucer including current publications from SAF Publishing, The Africa Institute, and winners of SAF’s yearly publishing grant in 2019 and 2020, as well as the announcement of the winners of the 2021 edition.
