To help you make the most of the world’s biggest display over the winter, Expo 2020 is providing a generous new Festive Pass for AED 95. Throughout December, tourists may enjoy unrestricted access to its cultural and educational activities for AED 95. Throughout the holiday season, there will be a slew of unique events, including the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations and Christmas festivities.
Golden Jubilee Celebrations:
The first event will be the Golden Jubilee festivities, which will take place between December 1 and December 4, marking 50 years since the UAE was created in 1971. With a cast of over 200, there will be a combination of human performance and theatrics highlighting Al Wasl dome’s unique possibilities in a never-before-seen fashion.
The ‘Journey of a Thread’ display, which will showcase Emirati craftsmanship, is also on the list of Golden Jubilee activities at Expo2020. Eida Al Menhali, an Emirati singing celebrity, will perform, as will Arabic poet ‘Al Azi’, as well as a musical showcase by another renowned Emirati singer, Fatma Zahrat Al Ain. Not to mention the spectacular fireworks displays to commemorate the occasion.
Christmas At Expo 2020:
During winter, Expo will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland to get people in the holiday spirit this Christmas in Dubai. Al Wasl, the Welcome Plazas, the Jubilee Stage, the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre, Al Forsan Park, and all concourse areas will be decked out in glitzy holiday decorations.
There will be a tree lighting ceremony, fireworks, carol concerts, holiday sounds from District musicians and Exposonix, and a coating of snow as part of the festive-themed event schedule. Santa is also expected to make an appearance at Expo 2020 Dubai, so keep your eyes open.
