The UAE has warned the public that if found guilty of harassing women in the nation, they face up to a year in prison and a fine of AED10,000. According to Article 412, persons can be penalised if “their words or actions harass a woman.”

People who are found guilty of cross-dressing in order to get access to a women’s changing room or restroom are also subject to the law. In addition, male and female victims are treated equally under the law. And acknowledges that males may be victims of sexual harassment as well.
