Prince William of the United Kingdom has landed in Dubai. The Duke of Cambridge, the future King of England, is in Dubai to honour the UK National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai, and he will also visit Abu Dhabi and Jebel Ali Port while he is here.
On February 10, the UK’s Prince William is due to meet Dubai’s Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at Expo 2020 in what is likely to be a historic meeting. He will go to the Al Wasl Dome to witness a performance honouring the United Kingdom on its National Day.
Prince William will hear more about the UAE’s efforts to combat the illicit wildlife trade during his visit to Jebel Ali Port on Thursday. United for Wildlife was established in 2014 by Prince William and The Royal Organisation, and DP World, which manages Jebel Ali Port as well as other ports around the world, is a member of the organization.
On Thursday, February 10, the Duke of Cambridge will take a visit to Abu Dhabi’s Jubail Mangrove Park. Prince William will hear more about the UAE’s efforts to safeguard the region’s fauna and flora from environmental and human threats. While in Abu Dhabi, the British Royal will meet with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, to discuss conservation and other global concerns.
