To travel to Abu Dhabi, people must now be fully vaccinated, including a booster shot. To enter the emirate, anyone who received the second dose of a Covid vaccine more than six months ago must get a booster shot.
Despite a negative PCR result within the last two weeks, some people were turned away at the border over the weekend after refreshing the app and discovering that it had turned grey. The rule took effect at the beginning of the week and only applies to people who have received two doses of a Covid vaccine, such as Pfizer-BioNTech.

Since November, all adults in the UAE have been encouraged to get the booster shot, which officials say is necessary to combat arising Covid-19 new variants. Everyone eligible for the booster must travel to Abu Dhabi, where Al Hosn’s Green Pass is required to enter most public places.
