The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee said on Sunday that 19 standards for conducting indoor and outdoor social events had been improved. The new rules are already in effect, and they apply to everything from marriages to house parties.
According to the new laws, venues holding social events like weddings, funerals, and family reunions must have a maximum occupancy of 60%. Indoor events can have a maximum of 50 people, while outdoor events and open-air activities can have a maximum of 150 people.
Home social gatherings should not include more than 30 individuals. Entry to social gatherings also necessitates the use of current cautious measures, such as displaying a green pass on the Al Hosn App, showing a negative PCR test result obtained within 48 hours, and wearing masks while maintaining a physical distance.
The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee said that inspection and monitoring would be intensified to guarantee compliance with all preventative and precautionary measures to assist preserve the emirate’s low Covid-19 infection rate.
The committee recommends the public continue taking preventive measures such as avoiding crowded areas, wearing masks that cover the mouth and nose, practising physical separation by staying at least two metres away, and routinely cleaning and disinfecting hands. The committee also urges people who are eligible to acquire a booster vaccination dose and keep their green status on the Al Hosn App by undergoing regular PCR testing.
