UAE Approves Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine Approved For Kids Aged 5 to 11

To curb the spread of COVID-19, the UAE has approved the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children aged 5 to 11. The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) authorised the use of the vaccine for children after the approval by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). “The results of clinical studies indicated that the vaccine is safe and has given a strong immune response to children between the age of 5 and 11 years old,” the statement from the Ministry said of the Pfizer shots.
