December is an important month for UAE because of the big two events: Commemoration Day and 50th National Day. Hence it is natural for NCEMA to announce safety protocols for the events to avoid the spread of coronavirus. “Let us celebrate safely, and preserve the gains and efforts made for the state for the sake of our health and safety,” an NCEMA representative said. So here are the rules according to the NCEMA:
- Present negative results of PCR tests conducted less than 96 hours prior to the activity.
- The temperature must be checked before entry for all attendees.
- The attendance capacity at the event should be set at 80 per cent.
- Always wear face masks indoors and in crowded areas.
- Adherence to a physical distance of 1.5 meters.
- Members of the same family can stay together without the need to apply the physical distancing rule.
- People of all ages are allowed to attend the event, provided they have received the vaccine more than 14 days ago, got a booster shot or have a green pass status on their Al Hosn application.
