Residents and senior citizens above the age of 60, people with chronic diseases between the age of 50 to 59 and people receiving long-term healthcare above the age of 18 are now eligible for booster shots. Booster shots for Pfizer-BioNTech and Sputnik are now authorised for these age groups. People who have been fully vaccinated with Sinopharm and have taken Pfizer booster shots are not eligible for this announcement.
Health Sector: As part of the national vaccination campaign efforts, the Ministry of Health and Prevention has approved the emergency use of the booster shots of Pfizer-BioNTech and Sputnik vaccines.
