The month of June is here and what else can we expect from this month other than the scorching heat. The prediction for this weekend is that the temperature might reach as high as 47ºC with it being 48ºC on Monday. Today, Friday, June 3, as the mercury rises, temperatures in Abu Dhabi city will reach 44°C, while Dubai will be a degree milder at 43°C. This is not all, humidity on the coast is expected to be 85% and 75% inland. Similar temperatures and moisture is expected on Saturday and Sunday (it will be one hell of a weekend).

According to the National Center of Meteorology’s five-day prediction, we’ll have a partly overcast Friday (today), accompanied by a hazy Saturday. The oppressive heat is still present as we approach the end of the weekend and the start of the new week. Heat advisories are in effect for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, however, conditions should be mostly pleasant, if hazy. From Friday through Tuesday, we may expect the light to moderate winds, which may blow dust and decrease vision at times, so be cautious if you’re out and about.
