US Prepares For Airlift Wound Down In Afghanistan

On 26th August, a suicide attack by an Islamic State affiliate took place. This attack killed about 169 Afghans and 13 U.S. service members. To prevent all this the USA has led an airlift wound down on 31st August. At Kabul’s airport, the Taliban’s extra forces can be seen gathering after the suicide attack. The roads leading to the airport now have many new checkpoints, many of these are managed by Taliban fighters who have much-improved fighting gear. The U.S forces will withdraw from Kabul on Tuesday, many western countries plan to evacuate their people before that.
