According to the index, the UAE has the highest proportion of fully vaccinated people among countries with populations greater than one million people. The UAE ranked second in the world in terms of the number of PCR tests performed per 1000 people, first in terms of recipients receiving at least one dose of the vaccine, and fourth in terms of the rate of vaccinated individuals per 100 people.

The UAE was also ranked tenth in the world in terms of the number of PCR tests performed. In terms of fully vaccinated individuals, the UAE COVID-19 vaccination rate is the highest in the world among countries with populations greater than one million.
