This Emirate Has Dropped Their Taxi Prices & Here’s The New Pricing

RTA taxis around the country are an amazingly convenient way for people to get around their cities. RTA taxis are safe and are monitored from the inside to ensure both the driver and passengers have a smooth ride. But with that being said, aside from all its benefits, sometimes it can be very difficult to keep up with taxi fare prices. But we have some great news for you today. It has been announced that this Emirates has just dropped their taxi prices to an all-time lowest in four months. Here is what you need to know about it.

Which Emirate Has Lowered Their Taxi Prices?

In line with the drop in fuel prices, the Ajman transport authority has announced a decrease in taxi fares. Ajman Transport stated that, for this month, passengers will be charged Dh1.81 per kilometre travelled, which is 4 fils lower compared to the fares of the previous month (Dh1.85 per kilometre).

Why Have The Taxi Prices Dropped?

The retail prices of petrol in the country have been reduced by 21 fils per litre for the month of June, covering all three types of fuel: Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus. As a result, the prices have reached their lowest point in four months. The rates for Super 98 and Special 95 have been decreased by 6.6 per cent, while E-Plus has been reduced by 7 per cent.
