The Etihad Rail network which is about 1200km long has just completed its next phase. This rail network will connect the UAE to Saudi Arabia. This project began way back in 2009, connecting Habshan and Shah to the Ruwais port. Post completion, it will connect Abu Dhabi to Jebel Ali, Dubai, Sharjah, RAK and Fujairah, which means less traffic on roads!
