Sharjah: Children’s Reading Festival Will Feature 25 Famous Authors!

This year’s Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) annual event for children and youth is entitled ‘Create Creativity.’ A total of 25 famous writers from 5 continents conduct a festival at the 13th Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF), which will be held at the emirate’s Expo Centre from May 11 to May 22.

Kyle Balda, an American animator and film director who co-directed Minions and did the animation for Despicable Me and Jumanji, will appear on the festival stage. Ken Spillman, the author of the best-selling Big Noah Little Boa, is also in attendance at the SCRF. He has published 90 novels to date.

Other US authors at the festival include Shanda McCloskey, who writes and illustrates children’s books and enjoys talking to kids about robots, drones, and stories with words and pictures; Alicia D.
