But what if I told you there is actually a way for you to eat the foods you see on the big screen? Introducing Dubai’s first-ever movie-to-plate cinema experience. Movie Eats is bringing you a 7-course menu with dishes straight out of the movie you’re watching right in front of you. What’s On ‘The Menu’?
Don’t mind the pun in the heading but this Thursday, June 6th the next film being screened by Movie Eats is ‘The Menu’. This gripping comedy/horror movie will have on the edge of your seats and drooling for the dishes on the screen.
From The Big Screen To Your Plate
So, now let me tell you what’s actually on the menu. The evening begins with a welcome course of oyster mignonette with lemon caviar, mirroring the first dish presented in the movie. Next, enjoy scallops with island plants and fresh seawater. The third course, bone marrow with filet mignon chunks and garnish, corresponds with a dish called ‘The Mess’ in the film. A palate cleanser of wild bergamot with red clover tea follows, perfectly timed with the movie’s progression.
The main course features a rack of lamb with undercooked leeks and shallots, leading up to a sweet and sinister dessert of ‘Killer S’mores’—graham crackers with chocolate and marshmallows. The grand finale is a famous burger, served as a double cheeseburger and fries to go, making you feel like the last one standing.

Can’t make it to the screening of The Menu this week or not in the mood for horror? Movie Eats has another screening lined up for next month and it’s a fun one. Head down to Teatro Dubai, Rotana Towers on Thursday, July 4th for dishes from a Kingdom Far Far Away where non-other than Shrek lives. Make it a family affair that small kids will love. The menu and tickets for the screening of Shrek will release on June 10th.
