In Pictures: A Replica Of The Parthenon Made From Banned Books

Marta Minujin, an Argentinian artist just finished the Parthenon of Books in Kassel, Germany for a particular art festival. She created this masterpiece from 100,000 banned books. She discovered that some of these books were banned in some countries while in some countries they were being circulated freely. Hence she asked the public to donate these books which were then wrapped in protective plastic and hung from the structure.
