If you’ve been dreading the daily commute between Dubai and Sharjah due to the traffic on the roads, there’s good news! Starting next month, the Dubai to Sharjah ferry service will be operational again, providing a convenient and efficient mode of transportation.

Ferry Schedule & Routes
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has announced the ferry service will run eight journeys a day from Monday to Thursday and six journeys from Friday to Sunday. The marine service operates between Al Ghubaiba Marine Station in Dubai and Aquarium Marine Station in Sharjah, covering the distance in approximately 35 minutes.
Weekday Journey Schedule
On weekdays, there will be two morning journeys from Sharjah, departing at 7 am and 8:30 am, and one morning journey from Dubai, departing at 7:45 am. In the evening, two journeys will be available from Sharjah at 4:45 pm and 6:16 pm, with three journeys from Dubai at 4 pm, 5:30 pm, and 7 pm.
Weekend Journey Schedule
From Friday to Sunday, six journeys will be offered, with three journeys from each side starting from noon. Departure times from Sharjah will be at 2 pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm, while from Dubai, the ferry will depart at 3 pm, 5 pm, and 8 pm.
Affordable Ticket Prices
The ferry service offers cost-effective ticket options to suit everyone. Silver Class tickets are priced at AED 15 for a single journey, and for a more luxurious experience, Gold Class tickets are available at AED 25. Children under five and People of Determination can enjoy the ride for free, making it a family-friendly option.
