10. Barasti’s NYE Ritual
Highlight: Dance by the beach with live music
The perfect environment for the party crowd, Barasti will be turned into a sandy dance floor for New Year RITUAL’s to be performed upon the shores of the marina.
At center stage, Canadian DJ A-Trak takes over the night with his electro-house sounds, C02 canons, a laser light show and flame throwers before watching the fireworks of the city’s celebrations when the clock strikes midnight. Here’s a little something to get you in the mood:

11. 3 Day New Year’s Eve Kids’ Party At Motiongate Dubai
Highlight: Perfect celebration for kids and families
Motiongate Dubai, the region’s largest Hollywood-inspired theme park has announced it is hosting a special circus-themed New Year’s Eve party dedicated to its favourite guests – the kids!
Taking place over three days from Thursday, December 29 to Saturday, December 31, little and big ones alike can expect all sorts of thrilling entertainment offerings inside the DreamWorks Madagascar Zone, ranging from meet and greets with Alex the Lion, the Penguins, King Julien, and Chantal Dubois, to the all-new stage show called King Julien’s Holiday Stomp.
The party is all set to take place from 5pm to 7pm each day, ensuring the kids are tucked into bed right on time without missing out on all the end-of-year celebrations. The cool kids can show off their moves at the Afro Circus Disco on King Julien’s stage along with the
circus entertainers as they groove to songs from the hit movie, “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted”.
A musical parade with everyone’s favourite Madagascar characters, clowns, jugglers, and stilt walkers will add more fun and magic to the party as they walk through the themed zone.
Families and friends can also enjoy all the other festive entertainment experiences outside of the DreamWorks Zone, including festive shows such as Santa’s Sweet Surprise, Dance of the Wooden Toy Soldiers, as well as parades, festive markets and much more, available until January 8.
