Breaking Down The Challenge
Each store has an IKEA living room set up with a fixed number of items that are out of place, plus a few spots where they belong. Your job is to get everything where it needs to be in 90 seconds. A countdown runs the whole time you’re tidying, and when it hits zero, you’ll hear a doorbell. Yes, just like the real moment your guests arrive. It’s also a chance to discover storage ideas you can bring into your own home, whether you need somewhere for toys, laundry or the everyday bits that gather in the living room.

Finish the challenge within 90 seconds and you could walk away with a gift card. An IKEA interior designer will check that you’ve finished in time and that every item has gone to the right spot. After each attempt, the room goes back to the same layout, so everyone gets a fair go. Each store has 30 gift cards up for grabs, each worth AED 500, and IKEA coworkers will hand them to the winners.
