Previously Announced Stations Across the UAE
These new stations join the four locations already revealed earlier. Those include:
- Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi
- Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai
- University City, Sharjah
- Al Hilal area, Fujairah
Together, all 11 stations will connect cities and regions across the UAE. Each station location has been carefully selected. The goal was to place them in key areas that serve major population centres, making the service practical and easy to use for as many people as possible.

Rolling Out In Phases, City By City
According to Etihad Rail, the stations will open in phases and will eventually link 11 cities and regions nationwide. This will officially create the UAE’s first national passenger rail network, designed to make travelling between emirates faster, smoother, and more convenient.
Business & Economy Class On Board
Passengers can expect a comfortable ride, with both business and economy class available on Etihad Rail trains. Business class will feature 16 seats, while economy class will have 56 seats per compartment. Trains will have a modern design, full Wi-Fi, and power outlets at every seat, making journeys both relaxing and productive.
Services will run on a regular schedule, offering fast and efficient travel between cities. This is also expected to help reduce road congestion, giving people a strong alternative to driving long distances. It has been confirmed that 10 out of the 13 passenger trains have already arrived, been tested, and certified to the highest international safety and quality standards. Each train can carry up to 400 passengers and will be operated using the latest rail systems.

Connecting The UAE Like Never Before
Once up and running, the passenger rail network is expected to bring major national benefits. These include boosting tourism, improving mobility, cutting emissions, and strengthening social and economic connections. Simply put, it’s set to make the UAE more connected, accessible, and future-ready than ever before.
