Burj Al Arab, one of the legendary buildings in Dubai has been named the world’s most photogenic hotel. This title came after it was featured in 2.55 million Instagram posts in 2022 alone. Atlantis The Palm is also on the top ten list of the most popular and photogenic hotels (it has about 500,000 posts).
This implies that Dubai has taken the first and fifth spots on Inkifi’s list, which is rooted in an evaluation of millions of Instagram hashtags from 2022. But that’s not all for the UAE, as Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi has ranked ninth on the list after being tagged in over 200,000 Instagram posts this year alone.
Inkifi also tracked the most photographed landmarks on Instagram, and the iconic Downtown Dubai skyscraper topped the list with 5.7 million Instagram posts in 2022. Along with this, the mesmerising Dubai skyline was named the fifth most Instagramable skyline in the world.
