Tesla’s owner Elon Musk did something bizarre. Elon Musk has made an offer to purchase Twitter in its entirety for $41.4 billion. Musk’s bid price of $54.20 per share represents a 38% premium over Twitter’s stock closing price on April 1.

The billionaire stated that he did not trust the company’s management and that is required to undergo changes that could not occur unless it was purchased. He offered to buy the company and stated that if the offer is not accepted, he may sell his existing shareholding.
