It’s the first anniversary of the pandemic. Basically, it has been a year since we have learned the words quarantine, lockdown and Pandemic. March and April 2021 is nothing like March and April 2020. Last year at this time, we all were getting used to zoom calls, making dalgona coffee and playing online games with family, but this year it is different. So here are some tweets to relish your memories of March 2020:
Early quarantine culture is starting text conversations with “how are you holding up,” late quarantine culture is starting text conversations with “why is everyone so stupid.”

March 2020: Resolves that during quarantine I will improve my fitness, invest more and learn a valuable hobby.
March 2021: Has a favorite face mask. Gets excited finding Clorox wipes in the store. Congratulates myself for putting on pants.

I blush when I think about all of us back in March. The crafts! The bread! Tiger King! Sending each other cutie pie Marco Polos! It’s like thinking about yourself in seventh grade

At the beginning of the pandemic my goals were like “write a screenplay” “train for a half marathon” but now they are literally like “just have a nice morning :)” and “wash your hair please :)”
