Global Village is well-known for its fireworks displays, and this year they’re going all out with eight shows complete with music and cultural activities! Global Village will coordinate New Year’s Eve celebrations in eight different sites across the world on December 31.
“This New Year’s Eve, we’re counting down with the rest of the globe to welcome 2022 in style,” said Shaun Cornell, Global Village’s Director of Entertainment. Throughout the night, guests will be treated to breathtaking fireworks not once, but eight times, with fantastic displays and festivities in between.”
As Australia welcomes the New Year at 5 p.m. UAE time, fireworks will commence during the day at the Park. The Philippines will celebrate New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m., Thailand at 9 p.m., Bangladesh at 10 p.m., India at 10.30 p.m., and Pakistan at 11 p.m. Guests will be greeted by a breathtaking five-minute fireworks show as the UAE greets the New Year at midnight. The eighth and final fireworks show will go place an hour later, at 1 a.m., to commemorate the Russian New Year.
The evening of December 31 is only for ladies and their families. The gates open at 4 p.m., and the operating hours have been extended until 2 a.m.!
