There are countdowns that matter. Like your rent due date, or when Emily In Paris drops its new season. And then there’s the one that really makes your heart race: only 7 more days of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS). Which means just 7 more glorious, gluttonous days to eat your way across the city for just AED 10. Ten. Dirhams. Less than your iced latte. Lucky for you, I’ve baycarked the city, tasted the budgets, and narrowed it down to five places where burger bliss won’t cost you more than a metro fare (if that). Ready to explore the AED 10 burgers? Let’s go.

Hammer Burgers – Festival City Mall
Tucked away from the madness of the food court is the Market Hall at Festival City Mall, which feels like someone gave a regular food court a designer makeover. And here lives Hammer Burgers, doling out sliders, chicken or beef, for AED 10. I ordered both, because who am I to choose between children? Both were equally juicy, tucked in pillowy brioche buns, layered with cheese, pickle, and that magic “house sauce.” Twenty dirhams well spent, and not a single regret.
Reverly – Dubai Hills Mall
The mall’s a bit of a trek, but once you’re inside Reverly, you’ll forgive yourself for the drive. Their Katsu Chicken Slider is the star of the AED 10 menu. Crispy chicken cutlet, tangy sauce, tucked into a soft bun that holds it all together like a miracle. And if you time it right, Monday to Friday between 12 PM and 8 PM, their happy hour kicks in. Drinks from AED 35, burger in hand, and suddenly Monday doesn’t look so tragic anymore.
Four Squares – The Villas
Okay, this one’s not in a mall, and it comes with a bonus: a glass of watermelon juice. Picture this – grilled chicken patties, crunchy veg, garlicky mayo, all smushed inside soft buns. Followed by a tall, icy glass of watermelon juice so summery, it practically sings “Summer of ’69.” Together, they make the quirkiest yet most refreshing burger combo you’ll try this month. A combo for AED 10, just imagine!

Big Smoke Burger – Distrikt, Tilal Al Ghaf & Dubai Sports City
Meet the “Mini Maverick,” which sounds like a Top Gun sequel but is actually a seriously good burger. A juicy smashed beef patty, grilled onions, oozy melted cheese, pickles, and their not-so-secret “secret sauce.” For AED 10, it’s the sort of thing that makes you briefly baffled over why you’ve been paying AED 60 for burgers that don’t taste half as good.
Oporto – Dubai Hills Mall
Dubai Hills Mall is winning DSS, if you ask me. This time, it’s Oporto, an Aussie-born fast-food chain famous for its Bondi Burger. For AED 10, you get grilled chicken, lettuce, cheese, creamy mayo, and their fiery chilli sauce stacked so high, it’s basically a beach party in a bun. Considering Oporto started out in Sydney in the ’80s, it feels like a little Down Under sunshine has snuck into Dubai’s burger scene.
So, as you can see, I’ve given you five reasons to cancel your diet plans and say “yes” to carbs for just nine more days. AED 10 won’t even buy you a sad petrol station sandwich anymore, but here it gets you juicy sliders, Aussie legends, and even a glass of watermelon juice. DSS. Now, share this article with your friends, nag them to grab their appetite, and go burger-hopping before August packs up and leaves.
