Get ready to party the night away on NYE because you’ll be able to enter 2025 with a sweet public holiday! Yup, you read that right – just like always, January 1st will be a public holiday in the UAE. This time around, the public holiday will fall on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025. Which means you’ll get to enjoy a relaxing mid-week break to ring in the New Year!

Turn It Into A Long Weekend
While Tuesday, December 31st, 2024, isn’t an official day off, you may be able to talk to your company and score an extra day off for the last day of 2024! But if you’re one of those early bird planners and already booked time off on Monday, December 30th, and Tuesday, December 31st, 2024 off, you’ll enjoy a glorious 5-day long weekend. Alternatively, if you requested leave for Thursday, January 2nd, and Friday, January 3rd, and paired with the Saturday-Sunday weekend you’re in for yet another fabulous 5-day long weekend. Either way, it’s a perfect opportunity to start 2025 on a sweet note.

Spending New Year’s Eve In Dubai
If you spent the 2023/2024 NYE in Dubai as well, you’ll know that January 1st, 2024 was on a Monday – which set the stage for a perfect long weekend for everybody.
