Where are all my MUA’s? (P.S. If you don’t know what that stands for, then this news might not be that exciting for you.) Attention, ladies and gentlemen, but mostly my ladies, because Ulta Beauty is finally making its way to the Middle East! Yes, you read that right! America’s LARGEST speciality beauty retailer has just announced their partnership with Alshaya Group to bring its stores to the region for the first time. Your makeup drawer is about to get the glow up it deserves – I have all exciting details you want to know, so keep reading to find out more.

Where & When Can We Expect Ulta To Arrive In The Middle East?
The wait won’t be too long! The first Ulta Beauty stores in the Middle East are expected to open by late 2025, giving beauty enthusiasts like yourself a whole new shopping experience to look forward to. However, the exact location of where the store (or potentially multiple stores) hasn’t been disclosed as of now, so I wouldn’t start dumping your old makeup products just yet. John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are incredibly proud to bring Ulta Beauty to the Middle East. This is a brand that so many people have been waiting for, and we can’t wait to introduce it to our customers.”
Why Is This A Big Deal?
Now, for all of you folks that still can’t get what ‘MUA’ stands for, let me tell you why this is actually a really big deal. Ulta Beauty isn’t just another beauty store – it’s a one-stop shop offering everything from skincare and makeup to haircare and fragrances, plus in-store salon services. With over 1,400 stores across America alone, the brand has built a loyal following, and now it’s finally bringing its unique shopping experience to us makeup-loving fiends here in the Middle East!

The Countdown Begins!
This expansion follows Ulta Beauty’s first international move into Mexico last year, showing that the brand is on a mission to bring its products and services to beauty lovers worldwide. With this exciting partnership with Alshaya Group in place, we won’t have to wait long before Ulta Beauty makes its debut in the Middle East. Stay tuned to Gulf Buzz for updates as this journey progresses and we get closer to the official launch!
