Which Nationalities Are Eligible To Apply
This one’s for Indian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Kenyan and South African nationals, along with any family members travelling with you. As long as you’re holding an ordinary passport and meet the eligibility requirements, you’re good to go.
Documents You Need To Have On Hand
Before you apply, make sure you’ve got:
- A recent colour photograph with a white background
- A passport valid for at least six months
- A valid residence permit issued by one of the approved countries: US, UK, an EU member state, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea or Singapore
How long you get to stay (and what it’ll cost you)
You’ve got two choices here:
- The 14-day visa on arrival costs AED 172.50 and can be extended once for another 14 days
- The 60-day visa on arrival costs AED 422.50, but this one cannot be extended
