The Emirates Cancer Society, Life Pharmacy, Julfar, Kerala Hypermarket, and Abdullah Ali Sharhan Charity came together to organize the Iftar, which was graced by esteemed guests including Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, along with other royals and dignitaries.
The VIP Hall in Ras Al Khaimah witnessed a heartwarming Iftar, where around 100 cancer patients and survivors, accompanied by their families, shared a meal with royals, officials, and doctors. As the Adhan, the Islamic call to prayer, echoed, the Royals joined the guests in breaking their fast, followed by offering the Maghrib prayer together with the assembly.

Guests at the Iftar event were offered medical checkups, engaged in a quiz program, and attended informative sessions to raise awareness about the impact of cancer. Healthcare professionals emphasized the significance of cancer and its effects during the Iftar event.
A number of cancer survivors shared their personal stories of resilience and determination in battling the disease during the event, expressing how such gatherings greatly uplift their spirits in their fight against cancer.
As a gesture of gratitude, the guests were presented with gifts, which included supplements, beauty products, and other items. Additionally, the gifts also included informative materials aimed at promoting a better understanding of the disease.
