How To Get 9 Days Off? A Break-Down

The UAE has announced prospective holiday dates for occasions such as Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha, the Islamic New Year, and National Day. Eid Al Fitr is a public holiday that begins at the end of the Holy month of Ramadan.

This year, Ramadan is most likely to fall on March 23, subject to change based on relevant moon sightings, as per predictions made by the International Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences in the UAE.

If Ramadan begins on the expected date, the 30-day fast will end on Friday, April 21, with Eid-al-Fitr falling on the same day. This would lead to a four-day weekend in the UAE, falling on April 20, 21, 22, and 23.

But here’s the exciting part. If you plan carefully and book Monday, April 17, to Wednesday, April 19, off from work, you can get the longest possible break for the fewest days. If Eid Al Fitr falls as expected, you will be out of your workplace for nine consecutive days and use only three days of your annual leave allowance. WHHHHAAATTTTT!

Isn’t that amazing? So, start planning your trip now and make the most of this incredible opportunity. Just keep in mind that the 2023 public holiday dates in the United Arab Emirates are subject to change and are confirmed by the Government in advance of the date.

Now we aren’t going to leave you hanging with just telling you about a 9 day holiday! No, we are also going to tell about some fabulous budget getaways near UAE that you can visit.
