The United Arab Emirates has approved the world’s first COVID-19 treatment. This treatment claims to decrease the number of casualties by up to 85 per cent. This initiative makes UAE the world’s first country to enable and approve this treatment for immediate use. This drug is called Sotrovimab (Vir-7831) and The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has approved the same.
