When Jordanian Hospitality Meets 200 Years of French Craftsmanship
What happens when a family-run Jordanian restaurant in Dubai joins forces with a French cookware brand celebrating two centuries of craftsmanship?
You get a culinary collaboration that feels surprisingly natural.
Three by Eva recently welcomed around 50 members of the UAE’s media and content creator community to its Jumeirah restaurant for an intimate event in collaboration with Tavola and CRISTEL France, celebrating the French cookware brand’s impressive 200th anniversary.
Rather than simply showcasing cookware, the morning brought together food, heritage and craftsmanship, with guests invited to experience Three by Eva’s new menu served directly in CRISTEL France pieces.
A Cross-Cultural Celebration Around The Table
The collaboration brought together two very different culinary traditions connected by a similar philosophy.
On one side, Three by Eva’s approach to Jordanian-inspired home cooking, family recipes and warm hospitality. On the other, CRISTEL France’s two centuries of French cookware design, manufacturing and craftsmanship.
The event was attended by Jean-Christophe Paris, General Consul of France in Dubai, alongside Damien Dodane, Co-President of CRISTEL France, and Wakami Saab, Co-Founder and Deputy Director of Tavola.
Three by Eva founder Eva Halasa and the Tavola team welcomed guests into the restaurant before Dodane introduced the story behind CRISTEL and its 200-year journey through French craftsmanship and innovation.

Guests Got A First Taste of Three by Eva’s New Menu
Food was, naturally, at the heart of the morning.
Guests were invited to discover Three by Eva’s new menu, with dishes presented and served using CRISTEL France cookware.
It’s a pairing that makes sense when you understand the restaurant’s philosophy. Three by Eva treats food as much more than what’s on the plate. Ingredients, family recipes, presentation and the simple act of gathering around a table all form part of the experience.
“For us, food has always been about hospitality, memory, and bringing people together,” explained founder Eva Halasa. “It was a pleasure to welcome our guests, Tavola, and CRISTEL France into our home and share the new menu in a way that celebrates both culinary heritage and the care behind every dish.”
A Dubai Restaurant Built Around Family
Three by Eva isn’t a restaurant concept dreamed up in a corporate boardroom.
The family-owned Jumeirah restaurant was founded by Eva Halasa alongside her daughters, Emilie and Lilian Rihani, with its identity rooted in Jordanian heritage and recipes passed between generations.
The menu takes those traditions and introduces a contemporary expression, but the philosophy remains deliberately homely: dishes designed to be shared and hospitality intended to make guests feel as though they’ve been invited into someone’s home rather than simply booked a restaurant table.
That makes a collaboration centred around heritage and craftsmanship particularly fitting.

Two Very Different Traditions With Plenty In Common
A Jordanian family restaurant and a 200-year-old French cookware company might not immediately seem like obvious partners.
Look a little closer, however, and the connection becomes clearer.
Both place importance on craftsmanship, longevity, quality and the rituals created around food. For CRISTEL, that comes through cookware designed and manufactured through generations of French expertise. At Three by Eva, it’s expressed through recipes, ingredients and the traditions that survive because families continue cooking and sharing them.
The collaboration brought those two stories together around the place where they ultimately both belong: the dining table.

The Gulf Buzz Take
Dubai has no shortage of brand collaborations, but the best ones work because there’s a genuine connection behind them.
Three by Eva’s family recipes and Jordanian hospitality meeting CRISTEL France’s 200 years of craftsmanship feels like one of those combinations.
More importantly, the collaboration puts the focus back where both brands believe it belongs — good food, thoughtful craftsmanship and people gathering around the same table.
