The Suwaidi Pearls pearl farm is located in the small fishing village of Al Rams, which nestles at the bottom of the majestic Al Hajar mountain range in Ras Al Khaimah. It was established in 2005 by Mr. Abdulla Al Suwaidi, the world’s first Arabian pearl farmer.

Suwaidi Pearls provides locally sourced pearls to jewelers around the world that keeps this old age tradition alive in the region. Hundreds of years before oil and tourism boosted the UAE’s economy, it was pearls that kept the country alive.

For the first time in history, the region is now farming Arabian Pearls in the surrounding seas. This historic development links the past to the future and is the defining journey from historic natural pearls to the pearls of the region today.

Pearl fishing is still revered as one of the UAE’s treasured traditions, to this date. Overflowing with heritage and culture, this place is definitely a must visit.
