Taxi peak time fares in Dubai will start from AED 12 now. This announcement was made by the RTA along with the timings for the same. The RTA also announced new timings for Green and Red line metros. The off-peak timings for the taxi fares are AED 5.

Here are the new taxi timings:
- Monday to Thursday: 8 am to 10 am, 4 pm to 8 pm
- Friday: 8am to 10am, 4pm to 12midnight
- Saturday and Sunday: 4 pm to 12midnight
Here are the new timings for the Red and Green Line Metros:
- Monday to Thursday: 5 am to 1.15 am
- Friday and Saturday: 5 am to 2.15 am
- Sunday: 8 am to 1.15 am
