4 New Entry & Exit Points
The spotlight is on Street 34 in Al Barsha South 1, where 4 brand-new entry and exit points have just been completed. These smart additions are designed to speed up how cars move in and out of the area. What used to be a sluggish 5-minute drive can now be done in less than a minute!

Increased Parking & Improved Pedestrian Safety
RTA has also added 158 extra parking spaces around the neighbourhood. Making it much easier for residents and visitors to find a proper spot. This helps reduce the random, roadside parking that often blocks traffic flow. Plus, RTA has also built 7 pedestrian crossings throughout internal roads in Al Barsha South. These crossings were placed in key locations to reduce the risk of accidents in busy residential areas.

Much Needed U-Turn
There’s also a new U-turn installed at the junction of Street 34 and Al Hadaeq Street. It might sound like a small tweak, but it’s already having a major impact. This U-turn is cutting travel time drastically and helping cars move more efficiently through the area. It also gives locals more direct access to their homes and nearby spots.
