On Monday, August 30th, 2021, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) made a huge announcement on its Twitter page. A tweet was shared announcing that the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has set the price for PCR tests in the country at AED 50. This announcement will be in effect from today (Tuesday, August 31, 2021). With this, the NCEMA also said that the test centres should also deliver the results within 24 hours.
