Palm Angels Launches ‘PALM CULTURE – JUMEIRAH RD’
To celebrate the reopening of its Dubai Mall store on May 21, Palm Angels introduced PALM CULTURE – JUMEIRAH RD. This new photography project is created in collaboration with regional artist, photographer, and creative director CHNDY. The project takes Palm Angels back to its original roots in photography and visual storytelling. Before becoming a globally recognised luxury streetwear label, the brand first began as a photography book documenting skate culture and the atmosphere of Venice Beach and Los Angeles.
The brand’s latest project highlights the nuances of Dubai’s landscape. It captures the city’s contrasts, energy, and evolving identity through a rawer, more personal lens. Instead of focusing purely on fashion, the series highlights the people, spaces, textures, and everyday details that shape life around the city.
CHNDY – The Artist Who Captures A More Honest Side Of Dubai
Palm Angels’ partnership with CHNDY for the project brings an authentic regional perspective to the visuals. Speaking about the collaboration, CHNDY says the project felt “really honest and beautiful.” He describes it as an opportunity to reveal “a side of Dubai that often goes undocumented.” This series focuses on “the spaces, textures, and everyday details we pass by daily but rarely stop to notice.”
The brand’s roots in analogue photography is what led to the partnership with Palm Angels. In fact, this natural partnership closely reflects his own approach to documentation and capturing environments, fleeting moments, and everyday details in an honest and instinctive way. According to CHNDY: “It’s always been less about perfection, and more about preserving a feeling, a texture, or a moment as it naturally exists.”

A Glimpse Into The Redesigned Dubai Mall Store
Alongside the project launch, Palm Angels has officially reopened its Dubai Mall store. The brand-new interior concept is inspired by the brand’s Milan flagship, which reopened earlier this year. The updated store features botanical-inspired elements, darker tones, layered textures, and reflective surfaces designed to create a more immersive and intimate shopping experience. The space will also showcase Palm Angels’ Spring/Summer 2026 collection, blending luxury fashion with the brand’s signature streetwear identity.
That’s Not All! There’s Also An Exclusive Dubai Capsule Collection
To mark the reopening, Palm Angels has released a limited-edition capsule collection inspired by Dubai. The collection incorporates elements like the Palm Jumeirah into the brand’s visual language, treating the iconic landmark as a structured design symbol closely tied to the Palm Angels identity.
The designs also feature the brand’s signature spray-style graphics, with “Dubai” appearing as a bold and expressive detail across several pieces. The combination creates a contrast between control and spontaneity, which ties together the city’s identity and Palm Angels’ street-culture aesthetic.

An Exclusive Event Featuring DJs & Collectible Postcards
The reopening was celebrated with an exclusive in-store event at The Dubai Mall attended by regional creatives, fashion insiders, and key industry guests. DJ-led music sets set the perfect vibe during the unveiling of the PALM CULTURE – JUMEIRAH RD photography series. Palm Angels also introduced limited-edition collectible postcards. These ephemera feature images from the project, available with purchases made at the new store.
With the reopening, Palm Angels continues to explore the connection between fashion, photography, culture, and community while finding new ways to engage with cities through local storytelling and visual identity.
This reopening symbolises Palm Angels’ vision to connect fashion, photography, culture, and community while finding new ways to engage with cities through local storytelling and visual identity.
